Tara Golisch M.D.

Tara Golisch, MD, specializes in the medical and surgical treatment of glaucoma and cataracts. She makes it her mission each day to listen to her patients and treat them as if they were her own family.

Dr. Golisch received her Bachelor of Arts degree with college honors from Washington University in St. Louis. She went on to attain her medical degree from the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (now the Rutgers University Robert Wood Johnson Medical School). While there, Dr. Golisch was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society, an honor that recognizes a physician’s academic achievements as well as lasting commitment to leadership and service in medicine.

Dr. Golisch completed a medical internship at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, Pa., an ophthalmology residency at Wayne State University’s Kresge Eye Institute in Detroit, Mich., and a glaucoma fellowship at the Cincinnati Eye Institute in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Throughout her training and career, Dr. Golisch has conducted and presented clinical research pertaining to the treatment of ocular diseases and conditions, focusing mainly on glaucoma. She is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Glaucoma Society. In her spare time, Dr. Golisch enjoys hiking, cooking and traveling with her husband.
